Tracy is a Presbyterian minister and literary artist whose poetry and prose have appeared in regional and denominational publications. Her writing invites readers to linger with life's complexities while discovering the grace and connection that emerge through shared stories.

Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with deep roots in West Virginia, Tracy spent many years in Ohio before settling in Delaware with her spouse.

Her debut novel, Tangled Braid, scheduled to be published in January 2027, is set in Civil War–era Wheeling, West Virginia, and follows three girls whose lives are bound together across lines of race, class, and power. Their stories explore the complicated choices people make to survive. When the system is designed to break you, what does it cost to fight back—and what does it cost not to?
